I did Annapurna basecamp trek with TVT. Subodh and team did a phenomenal job managing the entire trek. Everything from the stay, guidelines to meals were taken care of. We didn't have to worry about anything. They also communicated everything in time and made sure everybody felt comfortable. There were 3 guides with us the whole time. Walk to the foot of the world's highest peak through Sherpa villages, rhododendron forests, and ancient monasteries.
We run small groups led by NIM Uttarkashi and HMI Darjeeling alumni — guides who learned the trade at India's national mountaineering institutes and have spent careers in these ranges. Acclimatisation is taken seriously, decisions on the mountain are made by experienced leads, and the gear list is honest — no surprises on day one.
